local dishes to be enjoyed on the terrace in the Place de la République
Le Chanoine is the newest address on place de Libération. This bar-restaurant has a beautiful terrace in full heart of the place, a privileged place for a drink or to eat in summer. If the sun is not shining, we recommend you to settle down i the interior. For that, you just have to enter the very small cobbled street, just behind the terrace, which will take you inside the property. There, a pleasant vaulted and well laid room with about ten tables, a bar and even a piano on which everyone can perform. As for the menu, a short but well-elaborated : tartare of beef, duck breast, scallop, tuna, trout fillet; homemade burger; snails; parsleyed ham etc. We tasted bourguignon beef with honey accompanied by potatoes and salad. A delight! As for dessert, we advise you creme brulee on crunchy the top and chocolate cake accompanied by whipped cream, served tepid. As for wines, the suggestions will satisfy you. Ideal to discover the Burgundian cuisine quickly.
