Sober and discreet restaurant offering typical dishes at very good prices in Dijon.
This small restaurant on Berbisey Street has been there for years and yet it has not yet been known to everyone. Sober and discreet, he hides treasures in the room and kitchen. In fact, by passing the door, everything carries you in an Egyptian atmosphere (apart from printed tablecloths). Majestic busts are arranged everywhere, the ochre colours on the walls remind us of the hot countries that are lacking, and the verre papyrus are perfectly adapted to the atmosphere. The kitchen, for its part, is largely Egyptian and Lebanese. On the map you will find only typical dishes that will make your taste buds travel. Try a plate of Egyptian varieties for falafèle tasting, fetta salad, laminated cheese, hoummos, Egyptian beans and other babaganougue. Try also Lebanese specialities, which will not disappoint you: tabbouleh, fatitouche, foul beirut, moutabal… If names tell you nothing, one solution: taste all this to make an idea. It's delicious, cool and surprising. For those who prefer hot dishes, don't deprive yourself of a good grill and a fish base in Alexandria. The wines, too, are Lebanese or some Burgundy and Côtes-du-rhone. As far as desserts are concerned, all the sweet cakes are yours. The prices are very well proportional, even low compared to the originality and taste of the dishes. The only black point relates to the card, which, in our view, is too provided and does not allow us to find it.
