Family-run Chinese restaurant in a typical setting with a very friendly welcome and reasonable prices in Dijon.
Nestled in a quiet small courtyard right at the very beginning of the rue d'Auxonne, just steps from Wilson Square, this family-run Chinese restaurant is an ideal place for its surroundings and cuisine. The plant is typically Asian but not too kitsch: aquarium, Chinese lamps, screens between well spaced tables. The room was clean and comfortable. A small music puts you in the mood… This restaurant has its name, it really looks like a village in the heart of China! Chinese and Vietnamese cuisines are well represented on the map. We tasted the nems, they are delicious, the spring rolls are huge and cool, the shrimp doughnuts are cooked properly. On the flat side, we recommend the fondue. Instead, avoid the painted duck, a little disappointing. And of course, you have the choice between fruit salads (including Chinese strawberries), sesame nougats… We opted for the doughnuts to the apple, sweet! Sake offered at the end. A fresh kitchen, a very friendly welcome, reasonable prices and a typical setting. An address to know, you are told! This is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in Dijon.
