Indian cuisine with various meats and a good price-quality ratio in a restaurant in Dijon.
The Maharaja is as its name suggests, an Indian restaurant. Located on rue Monge in the heart of the city, this very nice establishment meets all the codes of the genre. Shimmering decor, traditional dishes and spicy scents that call for a gustatory journey. Several very affordable formulas for lunch or dinner and a menu presenting a nice diversity of dishes. You will be able to enjoy traditional dishes such as chicken Madras or tandoori or lamb tikka, for the amateurs nan with cheese and dishes with basmati rice are de rigueur. We recommend onion, eggplant or potato fritters, served with mint sauce, sweet sauce or spicy sauce. As for the dish, try the lamb saagwala, i.e. leg of lamb prepared with spinach with fresh cream and spices, to our preference. There is also an offer for vegetarians. The desserts are excellent, like the semolina cake prepared with butter, sweet almond and coconut, or the homemade mango ice cream. Finally, the welcome is charming! To discover.
