Atypical boutique restaurant with Japanese decoration offering a typical Japanese meal in Dijon.
Michael (and his team) welcome you to his downtown boutique, Manga Evasion, dedicated to Japanese culture, always with a smile! Manga, books, films, figurines, derived objects and even gastronomy await you in this atypical boutique. Reading and eating at the same time, isn't that amazing? At the end of the shop, this is where you will find the restaurant area, with only a few tables, decorated in Japanese style. Every day, at lunchtime, the regulars are there. Behind the bar, the stoves are crowded and orders are taken quickly. On the daily menu, always a bento, i.e. a typically Japanese dish that includes a complete meal to be enjoyed with baguettes or cutlery. Depending on your mood, you can find rice (with tuna for example), potatoes (fried pancakes), shrimps, makis, sushi, a small mixed salad, sautéed beef, an omelette, doughnut chicken, soup... It's simple and quite well done. On the dessert side, the mochis, coconut balls, yuzu cakes are waiting for you and everything is delicious. Serve with a bubble tea of your own creation, an amazing and refreshing drink. You choose the scent of tea (e.g. lychee) and the scent of marbles (e.g. pomegranate) that explode in your mouth, delicious!
