Excellent value for money cuisine in a restaurant with terrace on the market square of Dijon.

Located on the Place du Marché, the restaurant Au Jardin des Halles has an evocative name in which the terrace is available all year round thanks to the cloisters and heaters. The dishes are inspired by traditional French cuisine and allow you to discover regional specialties with, for example, a fine Comtoise tart as a starter, a trilogy of poached eggs with Epoisses, Meurette and Savagnin sauces, and home-made French fries and a citrus mille-feuille. The garden menu changes with the seasons and does not disappoint. The quality is there.

La nourriture est correcte. Mais ici, nous sommes à mille lieues du pays des gourmets qu'est la France. Les portions du menu sont raisonnables et j'aurais pu faire mieux moi-même, du dressage au goût. On est bien assis dehors dans un espace couvert. Les lourdes chaises en acier sont inconfortables et n'invitent pas à s'attarder. Le prix est légèrement trop élevé pour la nourriture. Le service était aimable.

Bonne cuisine.
Par contre, absence de geste commercial suite à un problème avec une fin de fut de bière. C'est regrettable et peu commercial.
