L’ANTRE II MONDES
A unique place in Dijon, exotic and fantastic in the true sense of the word. You enter a medieval tavern with a simply impressive decor, full of creativity that propels you into the antechamber of another world: swords, skulls, medieval coats of arms... Inspiration oscillates between a fantastic medieval spirit and a very dark tendency underlined by goth, heavy, metal, electro, death sounds... You'll probably find yourself drawn into role-playing games or the werewolf evenings of Thiercelieux... Enjoy an atypical drinks menu featuring mead and hypocras (homemade!). As for beer, we serve Mandubienne, Donjon beer and Lait de Brebiphant. And if you're feeling peckish, you'll find all sorts of appetizers here. For an aperitif, opt for a charcuterie and cheese board or an authentic Auvergne sausage. For the rest, you'll have a choice of terrines (poultry liver with grapes, wild boar, duck with sage), dishes always based on hunter's meat (braised pork, chicken, beef, venison civet with chestnuts, poultry gizzards), omelettes, large salads, tarts au gratin with medieval names and, last but not least, rather classic desserts. As evening falls, the tavern transforms into a metal, rock and gothic pub. Rest assured, you don't need to have a sallow face, long hair and head-to-toe black clothes to be welcomed by the owner. Another advantage of this bar, for which we have a real crush, is its excellent value for money. Pre-listening evenings for albums, conferences, exhibitions, signings... are often organized. Last but not least, the bar's highly successful theme evenings include jack and roll and steam punk, two costumed events not to be missed!
