Created in 1994, the Evad Association is the torch of cycling practice in Dijon. A member of the French Federation of Bicycle Users, it works for the development of the use of bicycles as a means of daily transport, but also for the necessary facilities and equipment in the city, which are linked to this practice. Very active on all fronts, Evad organizes numerous events with connoisseurs or discoverers of cycling in the Dijonnaise metropolis. For example, once a month, the association organizes its walk: every second Thursday of the month in summer and every second Sunday from the month to the beginning of the Place de la Libération. In 2017, a new initiative was launched. As part of its «bicycle-school» which organizes bicycle learning sessions, a new «selle» training is now available to all from 14 years of age. These sessions allow us to recover from the good reflexes linked to the practice of cycling in the city: Know how to anticipate the behaviour of others, position themselves on the street, take a roundabout, borrow a bus corridor… Practice: the heading "stolen bicycle alert" on the website.
