Dijon's Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin is home to a 5,000 m² cultural and training center. The Burgundy Wine School, located in the main hall, has 70 m² dedicated to a unique concept based on 4 tasting workshops designed to awaken the five senses. These unique tasting workshops allow you to discover Burgundy wines in a different way, to acquire the first notions of tasting and to enjoy a multi-sensory experience. You'll be immersed in the heart of a vineyard plot, with images and videos projected onto the room's 4 walls, before tasting the resulting wine. Or you're immersed in the fruit that makes up the aromas of the wine you're tasting. Each workshop is organized around a tasting of 3 to 5 wines, providing the keys to understanding Burgundy wines. 4 tasting workshops and 4 themes: Introduction to wine tasting, The vintage effect, Burgundy, Vins de terroirs, Food and wine pairing. These workshops last from 40 minutes to 1 hour, and each can accommodate a maximum of 18 people per session. Neophytes and amateurs alike, if you don't find what you're looking for among these 4 tasting workshops, ask for a tailor-made workshop. They are also open to companies, in both French and English. Either way, these workshops are sure to inspire you to discover more about Burgundy and the diversity of its wines.
