HÔTEL DE VOGÜÉ
A hotel featuring a majestic portal with Renaissance-inspired sculptures and a sumptuously decorated interior.
An architectural marvel built in the 17th century for Etienne Bouhier, magistrate at the Parliament from 1607 to 1635. The building sublimates the taste of the owner for Italy with a majestic portal with sculptures inspired by the Renaissance. It passed into the hands of the Vogüé family on the occasion of the marriage between Catherine-Louise Bouhier and Count Cérice-François-Melchior de Vogüé. The interior boasts sumptuous painted decorations as well as a gigantic sculpted fireplace enhanced with polychromy. One of the most beautiful examples of a private mansion in Dijon.
