Dijon's archaeological museum retraces daily life in Gallo-Roman times thanks to excavations at Mediolanum.

Housed in the main wing of the former Benedictine abbey of Saint-Bénigne, the permanent collections present a panorama of man's presence in Burgundy from prehistory to the Middle Ages, through the region's key sites: Dijon, Alesia, Les Bolards, the sources of the Seine and Mâlain. For children, new activities every season allow them to enter the fascinating world of archaeology at their own pace. This year's program includes numerous themed tours and the European Night of Museums on May 18 from 6pm to midnight!

Sur le site, il est dit que c'est accessible aux fauteuils roulants, malheureusement c'est faux. Aujourd'hui 16 mars 2024, j'ai voulu il allait avec mon fils, c'était accessible qu'au rez de chaussée.

What a pity, we came here all the way to visit this museum and it was closed due to bad weather the previous day, although it had not been damaged. The staff ha nothing do do, just told us it was closed.
