An intimate museum reminiscent of the spirit of a hobbyist's office.
It was in the Hôtel Lantin, one of the most beautiful 17th century private mansions, that Maurice Magnin and his sister Jeanne, both aesthetes and art lovers, created this intimate and refined museum. In 1939, Maurice bequeathed the entire collection and the mansion to the State. Discover Flemish, Dutch, English, Italian and French paintings. The house is also decorated with superb furniture. A little jewel to discover during workshops, conferences or guided tours.

Somewhat austere presentation in this museum solidified in its structural opposition to progress. Les Magnin required, during their donation, that no work be cut off or is added to the collection!
