Behind Place des Halles, next to the Porcheret cheese dairy (it will be easy to do double duty), the Éric Fèbvre bakery proudly displays the family tradition of the grandfather and great-grandfather. The chef first worked as a pastry chef in gourmet restaurants before returning to the simple taste of bread. Bread, yes, but "real bread", as he calls it: made by hand, without yeast, with this slow fermentation that gives it that little nutty flavour. Married with fig or chestnut, this honeycomb crumb is delicious. As you will have understood, we obviously trust the chef when it comes to pastry.... We let you discover!

Pain délicieux mais réellement déçu de la nouvelle petite vendeuse. Qui devrait prendre exemple sur ces collègues et être plus poli. Je n’ai pas de monnaie du coup elle ne dis ni Aurevoir et ne répond même pas. .

English: I reeally like this bakery. it is nice. The people are nice. they are always patient with me because I come in without a plan pondering on what will I buy.
ok, so I've tried their croissant, pain au chocolat, chausson aux pommes, brioche feuilleté (this one i really enjoyed), brioche, baguette, nordic, curcuma/fig, sports, corn, sportif, pecan, etc bread, besides the baguettes. the big gougères I think are quite nice because they had specks of what I'd assume is whole wheat, which gives them a nice flavour.
They also have fondant au chocolat, pasteis de nata, tarts and different flan parisienne, which have also been great. (I am kinda trying to try everything I fancy).
They make a really nice panettone. I'm no panettone judge but that one is enjoyable and makes me happy. The bake everyday that they sell bread from what I've seen.
I've enjoyed everything I think. some more than others, but that's on me and my particular preferences, because I do think they do the things there with care.

Tout les persones la sont tres amiable, et ont patience avec moi parceque je ne sais pais jamais qu'est ce que je acheterai.
J'ai essayé les croissants, pain au chocolat, pasteis de nata, tartes, les differentes flan parisienne, le millefeuille, les different pains (nordic, curcuma, sportif, seigel, mais, complete, baguette, cacao, etc), les gross grougeres (je pense q'ils ont farine complete, et j'aime ce détail beacoup).
J'aime beacoup tout que j'ai mangé : ) (Si vous pouvais faire une couronne des rois Mexicaine je l'acheterai) je pense que toutes les préparations sont faites avec soin
Ça me manque de faire du pain moi-même

Excellent croissants and pastries. Staff were very friendly / welcoming and allowed us to practice some 'school boy' french with good humour.
