CHALLAPAMPA
Village in the north of Isla del Sol where you can admire the wild side of the island and swim in the coves, home to the Museo de Oro
In the north of the island, the village of Challapampa has retained its authenticity. Its narrow streets and inhabitants, who still live in relative isolation from the rest of the country, make this village a true cultural voyage. It's a far cry from the glitz and glamour of Yumani. We come to the north to admire the wilder side of the island and to take advantage of the few coves for swimming, with a little courage (the water is relatively cold, all year round). Among the village's attractions is the Museo de Oro, which collects mainly coins and objects found underwater.
