COLCHANI
Colchani is a tiny village with a small museum dedicated to the salt trade and its extraction in the area
Each circuit passes through this tiny village, known for its small museum dedicated to the salt trade and its extraction in the surroundings. Within a radius of a hundred meters, all the salt trades are displayed before your eyes: the hardest, certainly, which is to gather the salt with a pickaxe in small pyramids, the truck driver or simply the bicycles to take the salt in big bags to the processing house, then its packaging in small bags before its sale in Potosí or Cochabamba. Several stalls sell handicrafts.
