ILHA PORCHAT
Promontory on a peninsula, with a platform and a monument to the country's 500th anniversary, designed by Oscar Niemeyer
This island, which in reality is not an island, but a promontory on a peninsula, received in 2002 a platform and a monument in homage to the 500 years of the country, signed Oscar Niemeyer. An ideal place to enjoy the view of the bay of Santos and also for the animation of the bars and various clubs in the evening. On the island, next to the "mirante" (observation point), you can find a restaurant where you can eat or have a drink on the terrace, while admiring this view. The view of the many buildings on the way back is less glamorous.
