Large beach surrounded by white sand, with good waves ideal for surfing and a good tourist infrastructure
Surrounded by the Mata Atlântica and white sand, the large beach of Maresias (4 km) has good waves for surfing and also a good tourist infrastructure. The Canto do Moreira, further south of the beach, is the best spot for surfing. A good part of the commerce is located on the Francisco Loup Avenue. This beach and its surroundings are not too spoiled. Although built, the coastline of Maresias is not too concrete. There are no buildings. The beach is narrow. It can be reached by 20 passages from the street that borders it.
