Open-air museum in a vast park, featuring large-scale sculptures of human or zoomorphic forms
This open-air museum exhibiting the bronze and white concrete sculptures of the Polish artist Felicia Leirner is located in a vast 35-hectare park and in the magnificent Claudio Santoro Auditorium. The 84 large-scale sculptures of human or zoomorphic forms express the artist's passion for nature. There are some similarities with the works of the Colombian sculptor Botero. Felicia Leirner, born in 1907, left her country at a young age and moved to Brazil in 1927.
