A very well-kept hotel, which had been refurbished in anticipation of the Winter Olympics, for which Almaty was a candidate city. The Olympics moved to Beijing, but the hotel remained, offering excellent service with a fitness center, massage salon, sauna and leisure area (bowling, billiards...). Rooms are large, clean and well-equipped. The staff will be happy to advise you on all the ski slopes and circuits accessible around the hotel, and can also rent you all the sports equipment you need for a successful stay.
