The Grand Hotel Victory's pub is a great success, with its comfortable leather banquettes, its bar and high wooden chairs in the style of English pubs, and even its red and green checkered carpet. It's all decoration and the atmosphere is still very Kazakh, as is the beer, but it's not such an unpleasant spot for night owls. The overall price is a bit steep, but that's the price of comfort, service and late opening.
