KANAK VRINDAVAN PARK
Gardens at the foot of Nahargarh hill, protected from view by a wall adorned with chhatris and bulbous domes
These gardens located at the foot of the Nahargarh hill were designed by maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th century. The garden is protected from view by a wall decorated with chhatris and bulbous domes. It includes a temple dedicated to Krishna, marble fountains and pools, and green lawns planted with trees. It is divided into 8 distinct sections that make for a very pleasant walk away from the crowds. The reference to Vrindavan echoes the description of the mythological valley where Krishna resided.
