JAGMANDIR
Summer residence for the maharao of Bundi, used for festivities in the middle of an artificial lake and offering a beautiful view.
The Jagmandir is a summer residence built in the 18th century for the Maharao of Bundi. It was used to give parties. It is in the middle of an artificial lake, the Kishore Sagar, decided by the Prince of Bundi in 1346. This building is a perfect replica of the palace of the same name on Lake Pichola in Udaipur. On the opposite bank, the royal cenotaphs stand. You will have a beautiful view from the Chhatra Vilas Gardens whose entrance is next to the tourist office, about 250 meters from the bus station.
