Between Port-de-Paix and Cap-Haïtien there are two seaside resorts… between which the stretch of road is missing, thus blocking the link between these two major cities in the North. You can do this on foot (4-6 h) or by boat (about 2:00 a. m.). These two experiments are magnificent and are both worth it. For the boat, inform the day before, or the morning (early) if a boat is ready to take you. If you don't, you can take the walk. Then find a guide. Walking is pretty intense but beautiful. The taxi taxi, less comfortable but faster, is also an option
