LE PARC NOISOT
A charming 5-hectare wooded park, three hiking trails and a museum dedicated to Claude Noisot, an officer under Napoleon .
Fixin is famous for its vineyards, but perhaps less so for its walks. Discover the beautiful Parc Noisot, overlooking the slate bell tower of this charming wine-growing village. Claude Charles Noisot, an officer in Napoleon I's imperial guard, is responsible for these magnificent 5 hectares of tall trees. A superb estate of Corsican pines in homage to Bonaparte, which gave its name to the famous Clos below. Three hiking trails are available. One is 3.5 km long, with little difference in altitude. Round off your outing with a visit to the museum.
