Why not rent a canoe, a kayak or an inner tube (large buoy) and go down the river at the speed of the current? If the weather is nice, don't hesitate to take a break from the city to enjoy the water. Come with your cooler ready for a picnic, leave your car in the parking lot, and a bus will take you upriver to drop you off on the bank with your cooler and inner tube. It's very nice and relaxing. To extend the fun, there is a campground just a short walk from Bogue Chitto Tubing.
