LAKE BISTINEAU STATE PARK

Located on the western shore of the eponymous lake, in a natural setting filled with cypress and black gum trees, this state park is renowned for its bass, black crappie and catfish fishing. Other activities include hiking (five trails), biking, disc golf and water sports (boat rentals available). You can also camp (tent and RV sites) or rent a cottage for a little more comfort.
