Located next to the Dixie Center for the Arts, Utility is Ruston's first and only craft brewery. The brewery is home to everything from Belgian witbier to North Central Louisiana IPA (every region of the country will have its own style of IPA...) to blackberry sour beer to oatmeal stout. The brewery doesn't just make beer, it also cooks delicious pizzas in a wood-fired oven. The icing on the cake is a lovely beer garden in the backyard and free concerts are often held at the brewery.
