If you're visiting Louisiana's peach capital, you might as well stop by the state's largest orchard. Established in 1946, it is home to some 12,000 peach trees and each one is hand-picked by the fine folks at Mitcham Farms. Not only can you get this tasty fruit on site in season (different sizes for sale), but you also shouldn't miss the homemade peach ice cream that is a crowd pleaser.
