Maison au Donataire takes its name from the character represented at the bottom of the statue of the Madonna with Child, today visible inside the building. Built in the Renaissance, the house belongs to the Société des Amis de la Cité de Flavigny (SACF) and serves as a tourist information point in high season. In 2016, Maison au Donataire celebrates its 25 years of opening to the public and the 60 years of existence of the SACF! Real local relay of the Tourist Office of Venarey-les-Laumes, Maison au Donataire offers explanations on the village as well as information on accommodation and catering possibilities. You can also make an appointment for guided tours. Volunteers from the association are happy to present you the architecture and heritage of Flavigny. Behind the beautiful façade of Maison au Donataire, you will find free maps and books on the region, objects of local artists or postcards. Every year, the SACF organizes exhibitions within the building. “Flavigny, vu par…” is interested by the view that the artists have on the village, whether they are photographers, painters or cartoonists.
