THE CHURCH OF SAINT-GENEST
The church of Saint-Genest was built in the 13th century and restored in the early fifteenth century after an unfortunate fire. The furniture is extremely rich. You should admire the fine statue of the angel of the Annunciation, the stalls, the wooden chairs with high backs only for members of the clergy. They are decorated with figures made from various inspirations. It is said that these unusual rooms were created by a local artist who wanted the monks to dream a little! Several of them unfortunately disappeared.
