With its twenty-six self-contained rooms (TV, Internet connection, mosquito net, bathroom, fan or air conditioner, etc.), clean without being frilly, Dove's Nest is a decent option for anyone intending to spend one or more nights in Gulu. The hotel also boasts a pleasant bar on its peaceful walled grounds and a restaurant of some sort on the first floor of the main building. Approx. 15-minute walk to the city center. Conference venue.

Unnecessarily overpriced. Not worth the money

Very good rooms and breakfast. However I couldn't sleep for 2 straight nights due to untolerably loud music from the neighbouring joint hosting a traditional wedding. I propose that the two neighbours discuss and prioritise comfort of guests.

Was personally not comfortable with rhe bed and mattress. Even covering was limited just like the pillows were very thin.
