In a large pink building near the old International Bazaar, the Castaways has long been the preferred hotel for professionals traveling to Freeport. If it does not fully meet the criteria of the typical tourist establishment, especially because of its location slightly apart from the beaches and the Port Lucaya Marketplace, today the tourist pole par excellence, it has other strings to its arc: The hotel was very close to the train station and the train station was very nice. In other words, far from the big resorts of the city, a hotel without pretensions for a little more authentic experience.
