FORMER LEUZEU MANOR
If you want a family stroll in nature between Ouche and Montagne, go to the Manoir de Leuzeu for a change of scenery and to recharge your batteries. You can get closer to your destination by travelling part of the road from Fleurey by car. This fortified building from the 13th century - it has fallen in ruins in 1930 - is now managed and owned since 2007 by the Association des Amis du Val de Leuzeu. The reconstruction and development of the site make it very pleasant for a break, a picnic or camping for hikers. The Gr 7 is nearby while some thirty trails cross Leuzeu. Be careful: the small valley is located in a protected Natura 2000 area which offers all its splendour. To discover the history of the place you can get the Cahiers de Leuzeu at the tobacconist/newspaper of Fleurey sur Ouche. You can become a member or make a donation to the association which is declared of general interest.
