Park located within Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.
Located within Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, this small park is worth a visit for its beautiful fossilized trees, which can be seen after a nature walk. Once parked on the parking lot next to the lake, a first path of 1.6 km - Petrified Forest Trail - allows to reach a plateau, after a rather rough ascent. From here, a second trail of 1.2 km - Trail of Sleeping Rainbow - will make you discover the most beautiful specimens of the park.
