JUDBARRA-GREGORY NATIONAL PARK
The park covers an area of 13,000 km² and is adorned with steep cliffs, waterfalls, rock paintings and baobabs.
The park took back the name Judbarra, following its restitution to its aboriginal owners in 2010. Second largest park in the NT (13 000 km²), its difficulty of access limits its frequentation. A 4WD is imperative to see most of the sites of the park, including the magnificent Limestone Gorge. A spectacular scenery: steep cliffs, waterfalls, rock paintings, and a unique flora, including baobabs, which love this climate in transition between the tropics and the semi-arid zone.
