KEEP RIVER NATIONAL PARK

Small park accessible via a well-maintained track to find rock paintings and an unusual stone structure.
A small park 3 km from the Western Australia border and 180 km from Timber Creek, Keep River is the land of the Miriwoong and Gajirrabeng aborigines, who created rock paintings at Langgerbi (Nigli Gap) and an unusual stone structure at Ginger's Hill. The geological formations in the park echo Purnululu/Bungle Bungle on the other side of the border. The park is accessible by a fairly well-maintained track that can be used without a 4x4, but is often closed during the rainy season.
