Borroloola is home to gigantic 25-metre rocks that resemble huge ruined chimneys.

The gigantic rocks of the Lost City look strangely like huge ruined chimneys up to 25 m high, squeezed side by side. They are estimated to be twice as old as Uluru, or 1.4 million years. The Lost City is only accessible by air, from Cape Crawford in front of the Heartbreak hotel (or in Darwin). It takes 15 minutes by helicopter to reach the Lost City, which will drop you in a magnificent natural amphitheater for a short walk. To combine with a night at the Heartbreak hotel.
