This lookout offers a magnificent view of the coast and the city, and is one of the best spots to admire the sunset
One mile southwest of downtown, this lookout offers a great view of the coast and the city. At the end of the parking lot, it is also the starting point of a 37 km coastal trail that connects Lake Pertorbe to Port Fairy. The trail takes you to Shelly and Levys beaches with their myriad rock pools, rocky outcroppings and sandy beaches. And it is probably one of the best spots in the area to watch the sunset! Be careful, it can be very crowded on site and in the parking lot.
