PLATYPUS HOUSE
An association based at Beauty Point whose mission is to protect two endemic animals: the "Platypus" and the echidna.
Do you know the "Platypus"? Or in French, the platypus? It is a strange animal with a duck's beak and a beaver's tail, barely 50 cm long (including the tail) and which lives in the rivers of Australia. Next to it, the echidna, the other monotreme (a mammal which has the particularity to lay eggs), is also to be discovered within an association which works for the protection of these two endemic animals of this part of the world. Information leaflet in French. Friendly staff. Coffee and souvenir store.
