Lodge located at the foot of the Tiras Mountains that offers carefully designed rooms and common areas.

Favourite! Located at the foot of the Tiras mountains, the Namtib Desert Lodge is a true haven of peace isolated in the absolute quietness of the desert. Linn and Thorsten Theile, the owners, have turned it into a little gem. The 8 rooms and the common areas are furnished with care. The view of the immense landscapes is superb. In the evening, we share a home-made meal around a large table in the typical setting of an old Namibian farm. It is possible to make excursions on foot in the reserve, to discover the local fauna and flora.

Nous avons également passé une nuit dans le camping. Magnifique emplacement, bien espacé des autres. Chacun a son grand barbecue et un bel arbre. Le tout est dans une zone protégée. Non loin de notre emplacement un petit chacal avait son terrier. Des sanitaires propres (chauffés ai feu de bois) sont à dispos pour les 8 emplacements. La vue est superbe. Au top !

Three stays from 2 to 3 nights in Namtib Desert Lodge, the correct name Namtib Guestfarm, between 2006 and 2008, the privileged moments each time: the friendly owners, dinner by candlelight, good food and a magnificent, splendid, set back by report have the road, at the foot of the mountains with their water source, see absolutely, a stop not to be missed on the famous D 707.
