Well-maintained pool lodge offering well-equipped rooms and cottages in Khorixas.

Built under mopane trees and linked by a labyrinth of small paths, the main building and cottages of Damara Mopane Lodge evoke an African village. The lodge has 60 well-equipped double rooms, surrounded by their own vegetable garden (70% of vegetables are locally grown), with a large, well-maintained swimming pool in the center. A short stroll up the hill overlooking the lodge is on offer. Ideal for a drink at sunset, when it's cooler, and for taking some pretty pictures.

Abbiamo passato una notte in questo lodge, di passaggio prima di recarci all'Etosha. La camera era molto bella e pulita, affacciata su uno splendido giardino con piscina. Il personale è estremamente cordiale. Particolare degno di nota è costituito dalla meravigliosa terrazza sulla quale si gode di un bellissimo tramonto.

We had a nice one night stay at DML. Rooms need some TLC but overall where nice and neat. The garden is a oasis and looked after. The staff all friendly and ready to assist where neccessary. Good to see all the tourists visiting our country.

Si le bâtiment principal et la piscine sont classiques, les chambres sont originales: des chalets entourés d'un petit muret et d'un jardin potager. Les clients sont invités (pas obligatoire) à entretenir fruits et légumes. Chambres bien équipées avec toutes les commodités. Buffet/barbecue le soir en plein air Petit déjeuner complet.
