As in the rest of the Gulf, the drivers have left their villages in India or Kenya to do this job, spending their days dropping off customers in front of restaurants whose menu would cost them three months of salary. The drivers are friendly and for those who speak English, it is an opportunity to chat. The reliable meter, the inexpensive fare and the printed receipt are appreciated. There are cab stands in the city, at the airport, and you can order them by app and phone.
