Msheireb, with its pedestrian streets, has some very nice new restaurants overlooking the street, with nice terraces. Bao is one of them, and its Asian fusion menu has nothing to envy to the latest trendy addresses in Brooklyn. Shrimp popcorn, Chinese bao breads delicately stuffed with duck confit or shiitake mushroom, poke bowls, creative maki, stir-fried noodles or udon noodles, the choice is vast. The dishes are all studded with aromatic herbs and delicate ingredients and served in generous portions. An excellent new address.
