This is Doha's green lung, where Qataris come together to play golf, stroll along trails or enjoy activities on the many sports fields. Depending on whether you're a swing learner or an expert, you can choose between two golf courses of 9 and 18 holes, suitable for all levels. The 18-hole course, designed by Peter Harradine, is one of the first grass courses ever built in the Middle East and is a championship course. The building housing the clubhouse, store and restaurant is a jewel of Moorish kitsch.
