The mosque named Imam Muhammad bin Abdulwahhab, also called the State Mosque, is the largest in Qatar. It can accommodate 10,000 worshippers inside and up to 30,000 outside. A total of 28 domes forming the roof are dominated by a minaret 65 meters high. It is open to the non-Muslim public to visit. It is necessary to respect the male and female entrance, not to come at the time of the prayer. At the entrance, an abaya and a veil are lent to women. You can see the Korans (without touching them because it is forbidden to non-Muslims).
