This spiral structure reaching for the sky is the minaret of the Qatar Mosque, also known as Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud. Its spiral architecture and natural materials are inspired by the 9th-century Samarra Mosque in Iraq. It is also the Islamic cultural center of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Enter and visit the mosque and the modest exhibition, which summarizes the principles of Islam and the Koran in a didactic way.
