Built in 1982, this fire station closed in 2012 was transformed into a contemporary art center in 2017 by the "culture queen" Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Bin Khalifa al Thani. In 2024, the venue hosted two temporary exhibitions, including Etheralscape, an immersive installation by (female) artificial intelligence engineer artist Dr. AlKhuzama AlHarami and sound engineer artist Guillaume Rouseré. Take a look at the street art frescoes of Qatar Museums' Jedariart project outside. There's also a healthy café.
