On the camelodrome of al-Shahaniyah, 30 km from Doha, the biggest camel race brings together thousands of spectators.

At the al-Shahaniyah camelodrome, the biggest event in the camel racing calendar brings together hundreds of mogul participants, gleaming 4x4s following their champions and thousands of spectators. The track is about 45 minutes drive north of Doha. An event held since 2010 very authentic and original with a good atmosphere and is the highlight of the races that take place from October to April.
