Beautiful landscape in the middle of the bush where the Finke River has carved a gorge through the MacDonnell Ranges. The gorge is now one of the most beautiful places to swim in the West Macs, and to watch the many birds, especially budgerigars. Glen Helen Lodge is the only lodging option in the West Macs and has recently been renovated. You can dine here with a beautiful view of the red cliffs. The restaurant offers a menu. Accommodation is available in campsites, motel rooms and small bungalows.
