The village, located on the shady banks of the mighty Murray River, was established in 1970 and its purpose has been to preserve memorabilia, paper documents, photographs, books, artifacts, machinery and buildings, and other elements of the area's history.
It will entertain those who stop in the area for a while. 45 buildings, decorated and furnished as in the heroic days of the pioneers, allow the visitor to immerse himself in the past with the atmosphere of a fair and numerous animations.
